They are bioavailable in humans and are increasingly used in health supplements, which decrease exercise induced inflammation, support cardiovascular health, and manage inflammation-based diseases.
Avenanthramides have the potential to treat serious conditions such as joint inflammation, inflammatory bowel syndrome, atherosclerosis, and colon cancer.
Our team is evaluating Avenanthramides in the AvenActive Study (Phase 2 clinical trial) as a potential treatment for inflammatory-based diseases.
