In Clinical Development to Prevent and Treat Inflammation and Immune Diseases

Avenanthramides

Avenanthramides are a unique group of phenolic compounds found almost exclusively in oats that are often used in skincare products due to their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. They are bioavailable in humans and are increasingly used in health supplements, which decrease exercise induced inflammation, support cardiovascular health, and manage inflammation-based diseases.

Avenanthramides have the potential to treat serious conditions such as joint inflammation,  inflammatory bowel syndrome, atherosclerosis, and colon cancer.

Our team is evaluating Avenanthramides in the AvenActive Study (Phase 2 clinical trial) as a potential treatment for inflammatory-based diseases.

Next Generation Wound Care Dressing

The market is seeking innovative sustainable wound care solutions, and the Pressurized Gas eXpanded (PGX) technology, delivers precisely that. By creating ultra-light, highly porous biopolymer structures with increased surface area, this breakthrough technology enables the development of advanced wound dressings that maintain optimal moisture balance, promote cell migration, and accelerate healing. With proven efficacy in delivering hydrophobic drugs like ibuprofen to suppress inflammation and enhance recovery, PGX technology is poised to redefine wound care while addressing the growing global demand for effective and scalable solutions.
